Let’s talk about TeamRedminer today, you are here to know about them right? Or looking for the download link? In this article, you are going to know everything about TeamRedminer software.
Check the “table of content” to know what this article will include in brief. Let’s start with basic questions.
What is TeamRedMiner?
TeamRedMiner is a miner software developed especially for AMD GPUs and Xilinx FPGAs, developed by Toxx and Kerney66 (a BitcoinTalk user) and released on Bitcointalk on 30th October 2018.
It supports more than 30 algorithms, check the below table for the supported algorithms and fees, you can verify data from their official announcement.
TeamRedMiner Supported Algorithms
|Ethash on Polaris GPUs||0.75%|
|Ethash on all other GPUs||1.0%|
|Cryptonight v8 upx2||2.5%|
|Cryptonight v8 turtle||2.5%|
|Cryptonight v8 half||2.5%|
|Cryptonight v8 double||2.5%|
|Cryptonight v8 rwz||2.5%|
You can mine different cryptocurrencies including major coins like Ethereum, Ravencoin, Grin, Zcoin, QuarkChain, Firo, Ergo, and many more.
You can start the software with some simple command lines using a Windows command prompt or Linux console.
For many finding a download, option is a bit tough as they found multiple sites claiming to be official websites, definitely, there is only one official website from which you can download TeamRedMiner.
I always do suggest to do cross-checking while downloading any file online.
TeamRedMiner has announced or first released their software on the BitcoinTalk forum, here. Which clearly mentions that the official website of TRM is https://www.teamredminer.com and their official Discord channel link is https://discord.gg/RGykKqB
There are some other sites claiming to be official websites but it seems they are fake like https://teamredminer.info.
How To Setup TeamRedMiner?
As you have already downloaded software from the official source you have to configure a batch file suppose you are mining Ethereum.
You have to choose the correct script or file according to your algorithm.
teamredminer.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:8888 -u username1.worker_name -p x
Above is an example of a Binance pool file.
Change the following things;
username1 with your account name.
Change the file extension, if you are on Windows then save a file with .bat and use .sh for Linux.
What Is HW In TeamRedMiner?
HW stands for Hardware Error, it gives you information if your GPU is doing well or not. AIf HW is 40% then it means you are losing that much hash rate.
To fix Hardware errors you can try to increase your voltage, important note, is never to increase voltage rapidly just do that point to point.
Does TeamRedMiner Support NVIDIA?
No, it doesn’t support NVIDIA.
What Can I Mine With TeamRedMiner?
You can mine all supported algorithms and coins, supported algorithms are already mentioned above and some of the tops supported coins are Ethereum, Ravencoin, Grin, Zcoin, QuarkChain, Firo, Ergo, and many more.
